Glass Fusing Course

For those who want to delve deeper into glass fusing, this is a six-session course for adults who want to learn the more advanced methods of working with glass. Techniques will emphasize grinding and sawing, glass casting, sugar frit paste, glass weaving, texturizing, dichroic, inclusions, pattern bars, and pate de veurre. Students will also learn how to prepare slump molds and firing techniques.

Class fee includes glass and frit used in class. Students may want to bring a pair of gloves to wear for the handling of glass edges, as well as a ruler or straight edge, and metallic marker. Each student will need their own set of basic tools: cutter, running pliers, grozer pliers. These tools may be purchased at the studio at a student discount. We provide a storage box for you to leave your tools in so that you don't have to transport these items each week.

The cost of the course is $200.00 with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit required at time of registration. The balance is payable when the course begins.

!! • Any missed classes MUST be made up within the six-week session during any scheduled class time. !!
